A huge happy birthday and beast wishes to Classic Horror Campaign supporter and Horror Channel hostess with the mostest Emily Booth! This luscious leading lady has been on the horror scene since the mid-nineties and has built up a solid reputation appearing in numerous fright flicks, hosting a wide range of horror film festivals and presenting her very own top rated television show on The Horror Channel as well as presenting a wide range of new and classic horror movies.
Emily made her movie debut in Alex Chandon’s cult sexy adventure fantasy Pervirella opposite fellow UK scream queen Eileen Daly in 1997 and followed this up with roles in Event Horizon (1997), Cradle of Fear (2001), Evil Aliens (2005), Grindhouse (2007), Doghouse(2009) and Inbred (2012) amongst others. Booth also presented her own TV show called OutTHERE which featured clips from a range of horror and cult films from around the world which eventually led to her becoming the face of the UK’s Horror Channel as well as supporting and promoting the Classic Horror Campaign. Emily was also a regular columnist in horror magazine Gorezone and cult publication Bizarre and is a popular face on the horror festival circuit both as a guest and a presenter.
